Jack worked with Whisperwood residents to protect the surrounding environment and discourage cut through traffic, helping reach an agreement with the developers of 38 acres on Lily Atkins to extraordinary conditions ensuring a better fit with the neighborhood.

As a result, the development will be limited to age-restricted, over-55 housing and three-fourths of the property is left ‘untouched’ in its natural state, maintaining its natural setting and and reducing its storm water runoff.

In addition, to protect the watershed and preserve open space, the town acquired the adjacent 28 acres and also escalated the installation of the Lily Atkins sidewalk, now scheduled for completion in 2022.
